Here’s a Pumpkin Poke Cake recipe that is sure to get you in the mood for fall!

Ingredients:

  • 1 box of white cake mix
  • 1 can of pureed pumpkin
  • 1 jar of caramel sauce
  • 1 container of Cool Whip

Optional Ingredients:

  • White chocolate to drizzle over finished cake
  • Candy corn

Instructions:

  • First you’ll need to preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Next, put the white cake ingredients into a bowl; follow the directions specific to the box you get.
  • After you have made the batter, you’ll add the puree into the mix. Combine all of that by using a mixer.
  • Following that, grease an 8×8 pan and pour the batter into the dish.
  • Bake for 25 minutes.
  • Once the cake has baked for that long, take it out to cool for a minute.
  • Next, use the handle of a wooden spoon to poke holes in horizontal rows all throughout the cake.
  • After you’ve done this, heat your jar of caramel in the microwave for 30 seconds and pour the caramel into the holes of the cake. Cover the entire surface of the cake with the Cool Whip and add topping to your taste.

This tasty treat is perfect to get into the fall/Halloween spirit. It is one of my favorite dishes to make with my family, and the fact that it is easy to make helps too. It takes no more than 40 minutes total to mix everything together and to bake it. You’re able to eat pumpkiny deliciousness in less than an hour, that’s what I like about this recipe.

It also makes you look like you’re an amazing chef because of the yummy cinnamon flavor, little does anyone know that it’s basically a box cake… sh, no one has to know.

If you want to try something new, this could be for you, pumpkin poke cake.
