Metro Diner review

As a future Butler University Bulldog, one of the key places where students and families love to meet up is the Metro Diner.  I had yet to try this newfound place until recently. I decided to go out a weekend ago and try this restaurant and see what the hype was all about.

When I got to the restaurant my waitress, Marcia, gave me a little bit of information about the history of the establishment. The Metro Diner started in Jacksonville, Florida in 1992 and became very popular a few years back when Guy Fieri visited the original restaurant in Jacksonville. They are most known for their chicken and waffles and now have a small chain of restaurants in various states.

For starters, the prices of each meal is very reasonable, almost too good to be true. When I become a broke college student, I would like to be able to dine at an establishment with reasonable pricing until I get on my feet. Lucky for me, this place is right on campus. I ordered the chicken tender plate with fries as a side and it only cost $9.99 for the meal. When the meal came out, I received 3 absolutely giant chicken tenders, a giant plate of fries, and a cup full of ranch that I, personally, like to dip my fries in instead of my chicken. I also ordered a piece of key lime pie for dessert making the total cost of my meal only $14.99.

The meal was fabulous and I am already dying to return or more. The seasoning that was spread on top of the chicken and fries was absolutely to die for. I highly recommend this restaurant because it is very well priced for astounding food.
