The Forecastle Festival is being held from July 14 to 16 In Louisville, Kentucky. This festival is a three day long music, art, and environmental activism event. This festival was started in 2002.

While this festival often showcases popular musicians, it also host local musicians, artists, and distinguished speakers. This year the major musicians that are going to be at this event are Weezer, LCD Soundsystem, Odesza, Cage the Elephant, and Sturgill Simpson.

This event is held at the Waterfront Park, which is along the banks of the Ohio River.
