Ever wonder how so make it in the business world without trying? I was given the opportunity to see How to Succeed in Business without Really Trying this weekend and I have to say, it’s a must-see.

The show revolves around young Finch trying to work his way up the ladder of success as he’s reading a book that tells him step-by-step instructions on how to do so without even trying. This show is full of quirky comedy, romance, and gorgeous musical numbers that audiences of all ages will thoroughly enjoy.

A big standout performance is Mt. Vernon’s own Dakota Fisher who plays Hedy LaRue. Fisher nails the role with every line she speaks and song she sings.

The entire cast puts forth a lot of effort and performs with everything they have and it really shows as the audience is watching the performance. The sets are very bright and easily maneuvered between scenes so the audience gets the sense of different rooms in a corporate setting.

The show is running from January 27th through February 12th on select dates at Ivy Tech in Noblesville. You can get more information, purchase tickets and get directions to the campus online at  www.thebelfrytheater.com.
