What I learned my senior year of high school

This is it, the final few days of high school. Senior year has taught me various things about life, love, and adolescence and I wouldn’t trade any of it for the world. Here are some things that I learned during my senior year of high school:

  1. Don’t waste precious time on him/her, it rarely lasts past graduation.
  2. Graduation is a bittersweet time with the people that have been around for over  a decade, cherish that time while it’s there.
  3. Senior year will be busier than any year of high school. The whole senior class will be running around working for the community, prepping for graduation, and honoring teachers and staff so there won’t be much time for anything else.
  4. Don’t take life too seriously, people are only young once.
  5. At the same time, however, learn time management. Make sure there is enough time for studying and grades put in before going out and having fun.
